I Promise

9x12’, Acrylic, spray paint, & gold leaf, on 12 wooden panels

"I Promise" is a mural installation consisting of 12 wooden panels, each measuring 32x32 inches. I painted this mural as part of my senior art thesis. The painting celebrates Chinese heritage and evokes innocent memories of nostalgia. It depicts the promises made by grownups or friends to children. The mural is installed using French cleats.
