The Community Mural Project

The Community Mural Project was led and established by Annie Dong and this was completed for her thesis titled, Community Impact: Murals & Public Art. The project was done by teens from the Boys & Girls Club of Manatee County. What the project focuses on is the theme of “Who Are We” which focuses on the self-identity of each teen and collaborative components. Additionally, the thesis focuses on social practice and how it integrates into art practice and public art. Because of the empowering and inspiring project the teens did it received recognition and was installed in the City Hall of Bradenton County.

It is currently installed in the City Hall of Bradenton County Florida.
